Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare coming to Wii

Infinity Ward's big hit, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be ported to the Wii. Treyarch will be handling the port, the same development studio who made Call of Duty 5: World at War. The release date hasn't been announced yet but I'm hoping it will be soon.

I'm a huge fan of Infinity Ward's work on the series and am eager to try out COD4. World at War was great but there have been way too many FPS games using the World War 2 theme. I hope Treyarch keeps the modifications for the port to a minimum.

Quite a few people are wondering why bother releasing an previous title when the latest in the series is already out. I would like to point out that even though Modern Warfare is 2 years old, it still has a huge following. Back in May of this year, COD4 reached a total of 13 million unique users on Xbox Live. That's pretty damn impressive.
